Spitting out water into different cups?

Anyone 2 year old drinks their water , hold some in their mouth and spit it in a different cup? Or try to spit it back in the same cup? I feel like I’ve been in this phase forever with my little one. She loves doing this and it’s quite annoying bcuz I’m constantly changing her shirts.

Yes!! My almost 2 1/2 year old boy does this, too… it is very annoying. Hopefully, they grow out of this phase soon. I try to remember that they’re just mini scientists discovering things?

Girl mine thinks it’s fun to drink and then spit it all over people so I think it just a phase they will grow out of

My 2 year old does it with her milk! She thinks is a blast until it spills on her. I’m assuming it’s just a phase. She also learned to blow bubbles in her drinks so that is starting to take over now!

Yes. Drives me wild because I know she needs water but I can't just let her have her water bottle to sip on.

Yes my son is at that stage right now. Or even when he's in his high chair he'll sip it and spit it on the floor

Well that’s a good skill for brushing teeth!! Especially if you use the fluoride toothpaste. Mine did it a while ago, maybe like 2-3 months ago but has stopped and will drink her beverages much better now.
