Going Out

When did y’all feel comfortable to go outside with your baby? I’m 2 weeks post partum and want to feel normal! I’m thinking no earlier than one month or what’s your opinions?

Probably about a month in. We just started taking him everywhere with us. (We're homebodies so it was just to the store or a family members house in occasion). And at the store just kept him in his car seat until he was older and could sit in the stroller and look around.

Even restaurants, he did great. The first and only time he's ever been fussy (so far) in public was at 8 months when we went out for our anniversary to eat.

I started to go outside with my baby when she was about 2 months old in my opinion but you know what best for you and your baby. I was just always cautious when to not go to crowded places then it will make me panic a little bit. She 1 now and walking around and an every time she goes every where I have a wipe in my hand because she likes to touch everything.

Immediately we went out. Kept her in car seat that has cover over whole thing that helped us feel safe. Currently 4 weeks and I can’t imagine having not gone out. If she needs out of car seat we baby wrap. We just go to store, park, or family’s so we stay away from people and use hand sanitizer a lot.

After 2 weeks 😫 I wanted to stay in the full 6 weeks because it’s normal in my culture but I literally couldn’t. I was losing my mind

Went out immediately. Baby can stay in car seat or be strapped to you. It was essential for my own health to get out of the house! For super busy places we waited a month :)
