Anyone else dealing with random food strikes?

16m old randomly decides they don’t want to eat anything I offer at all. Today I could only get them to eat a few pieces of turkey and like three large gulps of a veggie smoothie I made. We tried all their favorite snacks and they just say no and throw a fit. Anyone else? What to do !?

Gah! Yes!!! Same here! I literally offer so many choices and make new things…he will eat fruit, Cheerios and pouches but that’s it

@Pam okay this makes me feel so much better. I’m cooking so many meals and so much food gets wasted im like majorly stressed out!

Hello! My baby will not eat anything early morning because he is still feeding at night he does not take much for breakfast. At lunch he does well with the food he already knows. I feel my baby also eats best around when he is not too tired, so around 11/ 11:30. I find looking at the solid starts feeding schedule helpful.

Yess my daughter is the same now, she still eats her regular favorites like the veges but when it comes to try meats she will only take a few pieces before she declines it

Teething perhaps? My daughter is starting into this, currently. She typically eats everything but she just isn’t super interested right now.

@Sami yeah he’s always teething. He’s been teething since 4 months. I swear he cuts one tooth a month

Yeppp. In the big picture, he does get enough food variety over a week, but my goodness he just went through several days wanting morning but white rice and fruit pouches 😑 In like, but I cooked for you!
