Behaviour problems?

My little girl has suddenly got really clingy and waking in the night screaming for me. She won’t go to her daddy at all. Won’t go to sleep at night. She will wake up in the morning in the vilest mood too, won’t go to anyone apart from me. We have a 10 week old so it’s really hard in the mornings🥲

Sounds like she's realised the baby is here to stay, mine did this. It doesn't last, just try to carve out some 121 time with her as often as you can.

@Rachel thankyou, I honestly feel so guilty because it’s just us in the day so 2/3 of her day is me attending to her brother😥How long did it take? X

@Georgia probably 3-4 weeks but it steadily improved over that time. We did things like dad doing baby's bath time so I could be with eldest and tried to either put baby down for naps or put him in sling for a nap and take toddler to park etc (even if freezing :/) so ther were decent chunks when my attention was fully on toddler. It's really hard. X

My daughter is the same the last few nights and we have an 8 week old. My mum stayed over the weekend and whenever she picked up the newborn my toddler wanted me to pick her up and has generally just wanted lots of cuddles and only me. Hoping it doesn’t last long!

@Fiona That’s virtually what’s happening here. I’ll hold the baby and she will scoot on my lap saying my turn😥
