I adore this name but wondering if its too Narnia?? We also like Hermione for a girl but again, too HP linked?

If you love the name, it doesn’t really matter to what it’s tied to, use it. They are both great names.

Not everyone will get it anyway! It’ll be a cool opening conversation piece . For those that appreciate it.

I think Aslan is a cute name!

I love the name Aslan

Is very cutie but I have to admit my first thought is narnia. Is that a bad thing though?

I mean saying it’s ‘too narnia’ or ‘too hp’ is weird to me because I instantly think well duhhh? Obviously because that’s the first thing that comes to mind when I hear those names.
That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t name your child it, if you like a certain name then go for it, everything is tied to something one way or another these may just stand out to you for being ‘too …’ because they’re not necessarily names you hear everyday :)

I went to uni with a guy called Aslan and everybody loved his name. It suited him and I also love the Narnia books so I only have positive connotations of it.
Sometimes it’s good to have a name that’s a bit different.

I didn't realise it was a harry potter reference despite hearing the name several times before.

Pregnancy after c section

What time scale did everyone get pregnant again after a c section?
I know the doc said they recommend eating at least a year to 18 months but it took 4 years to get pregnant the first time after being told we could not conceive naturally so not wanting to stop it happening knowing it could take a very long time again but also worried.

Braxton hicks

I’m currently 34 weeks and have been experiencing braxton hicks for the past few weeks however have been having cramps almost like very strong period cramps In my lower stomach. I’ve mentioned this to my midwife and she only really asked if I’d been keeping hydrated and taking my vitamins which I am but didn’t really proceed to tell me if this was normal or related to braxton hicks also, has anyone else experienced this?

Help

I was getting pretty painful period cramps and during those, I had painful lower back cramps. I had these on and off for like a few hours so from about 10:30pm to 1am?

I’ve had no show, or anything like that.

Is this braxton hicks or early labour pains?

Little girl turning herself sideways in next to me

My little girl tonight, has spun herself so she is lying sideways in her next to me, making me panic!

Is this normal at 4.5 months, do I just lie her back normally/vertically?

Labour??

I’ve had on/off mild period cramps since 9 last night, very irregular and very mild, but I just had one that woke me up. My waters haven’t gone and nor has my mucous plug… but could this be a sign that it’s close?! I’m 40+3 and desperate to meet her!
