Requesting a Caesarean
Once your past your due date and they start offering you an induction, can you request to have a C-Section instead if you do not want to be induced? Even if the only reason is pure preference?

If you are in the UK they cannot refuse you a c-section.
So I booked in for an elective c section at 41 weeks. That gives my body time to go into spontaneous labour, but the c section is there in case I don’t, as I don’t want to be induced x

Might depend where you are but yes, I was able to do this. Got to 42 weeks and declined further induction after having my waters broken failed and opted to have a section instead. It was still classed as an emergency section but the lowest schedule.
