Following this thread For tips ! I’m having issues with my toddler being ready to be potty trained . He refuses to poop in anything but diaper and has terrible rash .

I just started our girl and she did ok the first couple of days but is taking steps back, wondering if this is normal? She went to daycare today and had several accidents and almost no success. By night she almost refused to even sit on the potty and try. She seems so stressed out about the whole thing

I just got my Prince potty trained! 2 weeks of success so I think we did it this time! First attempt was at 23 months and a failure (he got it but then regressed a week later)

I bought and used (can’t remember title 😅) and essentially you wanna start priming this new journey (I got some potty books for kids and we startiles reading that 2 wks ahead). Day 1 - RIP diapers…ritual to put this away and intro exciting new big boy/girl underwear. Explain staying dry and clean and how being wet is yucky. “You don’t wanna be stinky!”. Then explain and hype the rewards. “When you keep your undies dry and clean you’ll get x” and over celebrate victories. Re-explain on accidents. Always change in the bathroom. We spent 4 days at home. Never left. In undies.

Even on this round 2…I almost gave up about day 3…but luckily daycare also helped and tgthr…we did it! We now only wear pull-ups for naps and bedtimes x
