Diagnosed with PCOS after

After my miscarriage then ectopic I’ve been diagnosed with PCOS and now on metformin to try and control it and get my left ovary working properly again 🙏🏻 Has anyone got similar stories? Would love any tips and tricks, it’s been nearly a year since I had right tube salpingectomy and no luck. Currently my right ovary is working as normal but I don’t have a tube right side and my left ovary isn’t working very well and I have a tube that side! I know having one tube doesn’t necessarily reduced my chances but it’s feeling like it currently 🙃

I don’t think this is what you’ll want to hear but we’ve tried unsuccessfully for a year after salpingectomy and I’m the same. The ovary on the surgery side is the dominant one and the other won’t bother doing much. I know they tell you that the other tube will pick it up but we’ve had some second opinions where the doctors were saying that for that to happen the stars really need to align and actually you kinda need to ovulate on the side you have the tube. Long story short we’re just bankrupting ourselves on our first ivf cycle which started 3 days ago. We’re 37 with a low-ish AMH so didn’t have time to waste.. The ectopic halved my AMH btw which has since crept back up a bit with the ovary regaining some circulation. So yeah we chose not to keep trying naturally. But hope you have better luck xx
