Badger Notes 🙄

Yeah. I'm classed as out of area and there is nothing of use on my badger notes. At least when it used to be paper notes you could make sure to always have it on you. I have no info to give the hospital when I go into labour

Completely agree! Appointments come through late or they don’t detail what they’re for. My midwife appointment details are always updated. But I never had any details uploaded from my 12 week scan at the hospital x

It’s a joke, had multiple observations and tests in the past few months due to pre eclampsia symptoms and not one of the results are posted on my badger notes. What’s the point!x

I hate badger notes with a passion!! I ask every appointment to publish what happened that day and nothing ever is! I’d love to have paper notes. The excuse my hospital are using is ‘it’s a new system’ like I get that but I’d like to know what’s happened at the appointment because there’s so much info it’s sometimes overwhelming!

I’ve only got badger notes to check my appointments for the midwife and that’s it as my hospital isn’t linked to my midwives and I get a book with the hospital. My only downside is the communication between the two is terrible and never passed to me and I’ve had to even contact PALS about it which helped

I agree that Badger Notes is useless! By the time an appointment shows on the app, I’ve already received a text from the hospital/midwife & attended it 😂 Keeping it old school with the good old reliable blue book 📖🫣

Yep it’s rubbish for me as well. All of my blood tests just say ‘not published’ and when I asked the midwife said they don’t have the ability to cross publish to the app. The only scan that’s shown up is my 12 week one & it says ‘number of babies 0’ My appointments tend to show up after I’ve had them. Some info has been updated since I got moved to consultant led due to health issues but most of it is completely useless

I have complete opposite experience, everything is published v quick. After I saw the midwife all of my appointments were showing next day and my blood tests show within 2 days.

Yes mine was the same I got the number to contact who was in charge of the app she never answered my calls such joke!

I’m not keen on it at all. I was shocked when the midwife said they don’t do paper copies anymore and that it’s all on the badger notes app. Last pregnancy was on paper and personally I felt like it was so much better and more in depth. I’m a bit old school and like things written down instead of apps/email. I’ve even set up that I get paper copies of hospital letters instead of by the app

Yes, it’s rubbish! I’ve not been told about appointments and almost missed appointments! It’s also now not even letting me log in so I can’t check anything🙄

My appointments never show on the app so I could have missed some, who knows 😂
