Baby suddenly fussing a lot during feeds

My baby is 17 weeks old, and for the past couple days she has about 30-60 ml (1-2 oz) and then starts crying anytime the bottle comes near her mouth, pulling away, arching her back to get away! Shes only drunk 350 ml today (about 12 oz all day!) and it’s worrying me! Is it distractions? She doesn’t seem bloated and if she was I’d expect when she releases wind, the next feed she’d be extra hungry but she’s not! The only time she drinks a whole 7oz at a time is her night time feed when she’s sleepy and relaxed …. I feel like I’m doing something wrong 😭 She is also showing signs of teething (drooling, chewing hands etc) so I thought maybe that could be why…. She has no fever/temperature. Just want to know if anyone has experienced anything similar.

No advice but following this because my baby has been the exact same the past few days, I’m so stressed😭

You’re not alone! My LO has been doing the same! I think it’s to do with leap 4

My little girl is exactly the same and is 19 weeks, she’s teething too so thought it could be that. I’ve been giving her some calpol when it’s really bad and she’s been taking a full bottle after the calpol has kicked in.

@Jodie oh I’m glad I’m not the only one!!! It’s been worrying me so much! Definitely going to try the calpol when it gets really bad x

My little boy is fussing, think it’s the distractions around him! I believe this could be part of the 4 month regression!

Yesss. Exactly that is happening with my little girl. She is 17 weeks old today. She gets to about 3oz and arches back and starts crying/squealing and gets really distressed - kind of grunts/strains a lot. She has been showing teething signs (red cheek/putting fist in mouth/chewing on things etc) sounds identical almost - though her first feed of the day is the easiest and the rest get harder as the day goes on x

@Lisa oh wow that sounds exactly like my girl! I actually just looked up the ‘week 19 leap’ on Google have a look! The signs are everything we have said. So this definitely sounds like the 4 month leap/sleep regression! xxx

@Lydia check out ‘4 month leap at 19 weeks’ on Google. The signs are identical to what we have been experiencing so it must be this!
