Do you drink soft drink/fizzy drinks/pop?
My mom has a lot of dental issues and it seems I inherited them. Learned pretty quickly issues with your teeth can be genetic and a lot of people on her side have even missing teeth so that's fun 🙃 I got 2 crowns in HS & always struggled with cavities. I am not a soda drinker nor am I big on sweets. I brush and floss atleast twice a day, sometimes more if I feel I need it.
Get a water pick/ Water floss or they are amazing !
dental issues are absolutely genetic! My husband and best friend like never floss brush maybe once a day sometimes not and they never get cavities or issues whereas I do the opposite and get cavities and all kinds of issues.
I have one crown and need another one. I am in my 40s. My brother has had so many dental problems and takes very good care of his teeth. It’s not his fault. It’s probably not yours either!
Apparently I broke a tooth and didn't even notice?? But once he pointed it out it was very clearly broken. I got a crown for it when I was 34. I have always needed fillings, even below fillings since I was young. But I brush 2x a day and get cleanings every 6 months
@Adrianna idk who told you this but there are multiple genetic dental disorders. Yes, extra care, supplements, and medications can help but they still exist. My husband and his dad has/had an enamel thing where their enamel didn’t grow normally so it’s a lot easier to get cavities, break teeth, etc. His dad had a lot of dental care but had most of his teeth when he passed at 60. My husband has lost most of his teeth, admittedly due to added mental issues, but also due to the genetic factor.
Do you live in England?
Check if you have sjogren’s syndrome!
