Winchester Hospital
For anyone who’s given birth here recently what is the visitors time and how many people allowed, birthing partners etc? I had my little girl at Princess Anne in April 2022 and was only allowed 1 birth partner etc. I’ve now chosen Winchester this time and haven’t heard anything yet. Thanks 🙏

Gave birth in Winchester in September and had a positive experience, had my partner in with me 24/7, went in at midday for an induction and gave birth at 5.54am and he was there all overnight whilst I was in a labour room

Upto 2 birth partners unless there's something medical that might require more. Only 1 can stay the night though if you need to stay. Visitors are permitted from 12 noon-7 pm if you're on the ward. I had my little girl at Winch and we snuck MIL in in the morning as I was in a side room. I've spoken to hospital staff there too and they literally said visiting hours are more directed at wards. They only have 2 side rooms which are usually reserved for medical cases. Happy to answer more questions if you want to PM me
