GDM (Gestational Diabetes)

So today I found out I have GMD because I’ve got an extra fluid and baby is measuring two week bigger than she should be when looking at the scans when they measure.. I’m already scared for birth and as I speaking with the midwife she explained a little and said that i could end up going into early labour if necessary. Now I’m scared because I did the one thing I tried not to do and googled and did some research, a C section is the last thing on the cards for me but it’s more of a possibility of complications are there. All I’m wondering and please no judgement.. has anyone else had this problem but still ended up with a small newborn? I’d love her no matter her size but I’ve read 9 pounds and over and I’m only a small build person, so the thought of my down below afterwards worries me more.
