Unsolicited advice in public

Went to the chemist to get teething granules after a day of non stop crying (baby not me…) Was at the end of my tether, when this other customer with crazy eyebrows cornered me and told me my baby was too young to teeth and that I wasn’t burping her properly. Last thing I needed! I didn’t have the energy to tell her to back off, so just stood there shellshocked listening to her lecture. Even though I know she’s wrong. Why do people do that to new mums?

It's horrible isnt it, sorry you had this experience!

People are such arseholes, if babies didn't start teething they wouldn't make products for 2 months + some are even born with teeth!! it has to make these people feel all high and mighty having a go at others. Imagine a complete stranger thinking they know your baby better than you🤡 sorry you had to go through that! X

@Chloe yes you’re so right. They wouldn’t make them would they! Must get better at telling people where to go when they’re too much!

Wow people are so rude!

funny thing is, babies are born with all their teeth. so even if they aren’t breaking through the gums yet, it can still be painful for them when their teeth start moving up. it’s achey and not nice. my wisdom teeth ache and give me the worst headache a few times a month and they haven’t even broken through yet. imagine that for babies.
