False positive?!
Anyone ever experienced a false positive? TTC baby #2. Period hasnt come and I’m 5 days late. I’m so confused. Did a test tonight with an Asda cheapie and it appeared positive. The pink dye seemed a little smudged but a line appeared so quickly. Did other tests with other bands and all have said negative. Someone said it might be because the first test was ‘flooded’. Upset to say the least as I thought I was finally pregnant.

Do it in the morning or in 48 hours when hormone concentration highest. False positives and negatives do occur unfortunately.
Did you drink a load of water to make yourself wee? I did this and had about 5 negatives but the next morning was positive again
Try a blue die test, they show up better, they sell them in asda, do it with your first wee of the morning and dip it rather than wee on it xx
I’ve done other tests this morning and they were all negative. Did a Tesco brand one and it looked like a very faint line but I think it was an indent. Was weird as the indent came up straight away. 😢 Tried to contact the doctors but as per they have no appts. 😖😔
@Lucy yeh I did haha. Used FMU today and it was negative. 😔
