Bottle Recommendation

My LO is currently 4 months and exclusively breastfed. She has never taken a bottle but I need her to as I have a wedding in April which she isn’t invited too. We have tried the MAM bottle but with no luck (my husband and mother tried feeding her). She doesn’t take a dummy so don’t know if she think the bottle is a dummy so is just spitting it out? Do I need to get her to take a dummy first? Any advice or tips on how to get her to take a bottle? Or is it too late for her to take a bottle now?

I use Pigeon and my girl took to it instantly and still takes the boob aswell ☺️

We use MAM with size 2 teats and don't have any issues or confusion between bottle and boob x

We use MAM! Is very great

I use Asdas own, they’re only £1. Took me 2 weeks to get baby girl to take it, a lot of playing with the teet to get familiar with it. She won’t take a dummy either x

Mam

Phillips avent and my son love it and he was breastfeeding until 3 months now he is 6 months

My EBF boy also refused Mam teats which was annoying as I spent a fair bit of money on bottles before he was born (silly I know). He now takes size 1 Lansinoh teats which fit in the Mam bottles (about £5 for 2 on Amazon if you want to try). I’ve heard Lansinoh teats aren’t always tolerated by breastfed babies as the flow is quite fast but I have a fast let down anyway so it works for us. The teats pass the triangle test so they promote a deep breast-like latch and good for transition between breast and bottle. He’s always fed off me or had a bottle of expressed from my mum or partner and never took a dummy. He’s five months and never had to change teat flow size xx

Tommee tippie are good for breastfed babies

They are all good it’s all depends on your baby … and what they like … 🫣👍😁
