Sex postpartum?

I’m almost 9 months postpartum and me and my husband have sex 1-2 times a month. Is this normal? I’d like to have sex more often, but he doesn’t seem interested. He blames it on the baby sleeping in bed with us (as if there’s not other areas of the house). Idk… just feeling undesired and ugly.

Girl I don’t know what’s normal anymore lol but on a serious note ur not ugly and definitely not undesired don’t let a man make you feel down! And maybe have a talk with him about it! Same situation happened to me and my husband and we now do it all around the house and/or have our son in his own bed now. Try new things try to spice things up again. :) I know that’s not much of help but I wish the best of luck!

Aww I’m sorry that’s so sad. Maybe you guys can have a conversation and he can tell you why he doesn’t want to. Whether it is about you or not, it’ll be good to hear so that you can go from there and not keep on wondering and spiraling into bad thoughts about yourself

If you guys have no one else in the house then yeah of course you can do it anywhere you like. My first was conceived on a fishing pier on a hot night 😂 my second was conceived on the back alfresco couch. My 3rd was conceived in the car otw home from a date night 😂 none of my kids were conceived on a bed LoL. But now, we have 2 teens and MIL in the house we can’t sneak around and have sex on the kitchen bench or laundry bench or couch like we used to 😂 if you have the whole house girl use it. Initiate in other areas of the house. Those days for me are OVER 😭😂 (we did the other week, the one rare day no one else was home lol)

That's what it's like for us right now except I'm the one never in the mood lol, I think it's normal. Having a baby is a lot of change and it gets better if you guys work together. Talk to him about how you feel about it, there's more ways of showing intimacy than just sex

Get an air mattress? We put an air mattress in my husbands office
