I'm also afraid of retaliation
How would they know its you?
I don't see many people come and go from their apartment
Yeah but i don't get how they would know its you. Just call the police and report them they won't tell them you called.
Do your best to make it extra extra clear to the police that you wanna be anonymous as much as possible due to retaliation and fear for y’all’s safety. But lord forbid any of your littles are playing outside and they crash into em. Or somebody got a gun and go crazy? Bullets ain’t got eyes and neither do drunk drivers if you wanna be honest
@Macdalia that's why I was thinking about calling it in she did mention a dealer
There are no easy options here. But if you're in a position, I'd move myself. Thus would be the quickest way
@Rasa unfortunately we don't have the funds to move and we would be breaking the lease
I'm sorry to hear that in this case. I would suggest recording everything, getting a door camera etc. To collect any and all antisocial behaviour (from the sounds of it, it won't be difficult) and then go to your letting agent and have a serious conversation saying that either they intervene or move you elsewhere. Read your lease and look for any clauses that would support your claim for dangerous living conditions.
Most leases have an early termination clause that typicallyis availablefor both parties. I am sure your situation would fall under that. You just need to be able to prove your claim regarding unsafe living conditions.
As an apartment manager myself, the only thing we can do is evict them and that can take MONTHS and we need some super damning evidence from multiple neighbors. We cant just throw them out instantly you have to follow the law. Police are your best bet.
