@Elliescia thank you! X
Blistex! It’s a small tube Intensive Moisturiser and only a few pounds but very effective! Day to day I use Vaseline but when my lips are really dry I use Blistex. Give it a go! X
Lanolin nipple cream 👌🏽 trust me on this. I know people who’ve not had a baby and use it. I’ll never waste money on “lip balm” again x
Thank you everyone! ❤️
I second Lanolin! It’s more expensive but it works pretty much instantly! If your lips are dry to the point of bleeding I wouldn’t touch Vaseline or lip balm! You could also try some cortisone cream on the skin around your lips if it’s red
Gonna try lanolin myself
@Kim going to get some lanolin on order! Thanks girlies xx
@karla you can usually grab it at boots x
Vaseline during the day and nipple cream every night and morning! I’m also taking electrolytes every day to try and keep super hydrated. It hasn’t really stopped mine being dry but it’s stopping the constant bleeding, I’ve read it’s just what happens if you usually have sensitive skin as every thing is stretching / increased blood flow makes you thirstier
@Amy it makes sense as I do have very sensitive skin! Thank you 😊 xx
Try not to pick or lick as hard as it is too!
Vaseline thick layer at bedtime and throughout the day is what helped me and postpartum too.
Carmex! And don't forget to put it in your hospital bag for Labour! The dry lips when giving birth is something else!! X
Same. Not bleeding but I can't get rid of it either. I tried a bunch of different chap sticks and eventually found one that kind of works for me now. Good luck!

oh goodness! me as well!! dry, cracked bloody lips, and i have severe hyperemesis gravidarum so the throwing up makes them bleed worse. i have the perfect cure!! it looks and sounds weird, but desitin diaper rash ointment will look funny and white, but really cures it, after 2 days of desitin on lips, blistex and vaseline, nonstop. this saved me!!
@ash I was the same when I was throwing up I was making them bleed too! That does sound strange but willing to try anything, thank you so much ☺️
I have the same thing but when I drink a lot more water It normally helps! Up your water intake
@Natalie only thing I drink is water, and I’m constantly thirsty so that hasn’t helped me unfortunately
Nipple cream fan here 🙋🏾♀️
Avoid any type of lipsil as I was recently told by a dermatologist that they actually dry your lips out more, so that you keep buying them!! I was recommended just vaseline and keep applying
My lips have been terrible but I alsohave Sjögren’s syndrome (autoimmune which causes dryness including dry lips) so I tend to use burt’s bees overnight lip repair and Elizabeth Arden’s 8 hour lip cream- works wonders
@karla honestly, it works!
Good old fashioned Vaseline👌 I have the same tried different balms but made them worse, vasaline works best 👍
