Does anyone’s toddler still have milk before bed?

Two next month and still having milk not sure if it’s time to stop milk before naps and bedtime? They still eat plenty in the day. Just saw a post saying it should stop at 18 months…

I have a boy the same age and he still has milk when he wakes up / goes to sleep. It’s just part of his routine and he’s shown no signs of not wanting to stop

Theres no right age to stop. It’s all up to you as their parent. My daughter is 6 years old & she still has a cup of warm milk before she brushes her teeth for bed whereas my little boy is 2 years old next month & he’s not interested in milk at all. He occasionally asks for a bottle before bed but very rarely now

My little girl still has milk in a cup before bed, she’s a really fussy eater and doesn’t eat a variety of food so she always asks for milk before bed x

My little boy still has milk it’s part of his routine and I think it’s still good to give him it as it’s good for the bones and teeth. But everyone is different you know your child best ☺️

Do they wake in the night for milk? If so I’d stop straight away but it’s just something that helps them settle for a nap/bedtime then I honestly don’t see the harm! My little girl ended up taking herself off her milk before bed, she just never wanted it so we stopped giving it her but I can imagine if she was still wanting it before bed I’d happily give it to her as long as she wasn’t waking in the night and it being something she needed to fall asleep etc xxx

My twins still have milk before nap and before bed. Milk is what makes them sleepy and we’ve no plans to stop anytime soon

Yup but make sure to do a quick brush of their teeth after

My LO still has milk before nap and at bedtime. She eats plenty through the day as well, but she’s always loved her milk.

My little girl started rejecting milk before bed about a month ago. I was going to continue doing it until she didn't want it anymore.

We have stopped the warmed milk in a bottle right before sleep (stopped a few weeks ago). But my son does sometimes ask for milk when playing etc and we give him when he asks in a sippy cup

Omg yes. I can’t get her off it either, it’s such a comfort. Plus loads in the night. 🥴🥴🥴

He refused it a few weeks ago and now just cuddles the bottle so we switched to warm water as it seemed a waste of milk

Mines has just stopped himself, don’t think there is any harm in them still wanting it 🤷🏻‍♀️

My daughter still have milk before bed and during night if she wakes up. But we are trying to reduce and cancel milk, we are replacing it by warm water
