Just a little overwhelmed 🌈

I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks in December and I’ve not long discovered I’m pregnant again. Im obviously elated to have this beautiful chance again to be a mum, but how did/are you all coping with the worry of another mc? Some days im overjoyed and others I’m still sat in my grief and am full of worry. I pray we get to full term happy and healthy 💕🙏🏻 we can do it little poppy seed

First congratulations!! So happy for you 🥰 I got pregnant about 2 months after my miscarriage and struggled with anxiety a lot in the first trimester. I actually looked forward to nausea as proof our little jelly bean was doing well. I found a few things helped during that time 1. I started going to church (not for everyone but it helped me) 2. My ob offered heart beat checks. So I swung by every 2 weeks or so just for a Doppler scan. It took them 5-10 min and helped me tremendously. Whatever you do, be kind to yourself. Pregnancy after loss is tough but it’ll all be worth it.

Congratulations. For me everytime I went to the toilet and didn't see red I'd reassure myself saying I'm still pregnant. We also didn't have sex until 12 week scan confirming everything was okay. We had been trying since 2010, had a miscarry in 2013 and a second loss in 2022. We conceived our daughter in 2023 and welcomed her into the world that Christmas day. X

A girl in another thread said smt that really stuck with me ' you're pregnant until you're not' and that is so true. So there isn't anything wrong unless you find out there is. Also, chances of having a successful pregnancy after a miscarriage is high. The grief will always be there to some extent, I've learned, but I personally just remind myself everyday I'm blessed enough to have survived a loss and still be able to create a new life after that. May we have healthy amazing babas this time 😘🥰

Thank you everyone. Your kind words mean an awful lot to a very anxious mumma 💕 just going to take it all day by day and be grateful for my poppy seed. Thank you all so much.
