Is my baby bonded to me?

I’m really struggling to feel like my baby loves me as his mum. He is now 9 months and he doesn’t ever like to be cuddled. At night if he wakes crying he doesn’t seem to be comforted by me when I get him out of his cot - he just hits and thrashes around in my arms. I love him so much but feel sad that I see other babies being affectionate with their mums. Does anyone else feel like this?

Im not sure why this group popped up as I’m not following but my son is 11 months old and he was the exact same until he hit 10/10.5 months and now he is glued to me!

Yeah my boy doesn’t like cuddles at all he’s a proper boys boy and he rough and likes be chucked around 😂 honestly wouldn’t see it as a bad thing at all x

My little girl hates cuddles!! I feel exactly the same as you! She’s very independent & is happy to play on her own etc. I also see other mums who have babies which are really cuddly & I can’t help but get jealous 🤣

I don’t have a cuddly baby either, she’s wanted to sleep on her own since she was about 8 weeks old 😭 I will say as she’s now nearly 9 months she’ll rest her head on my shoulder for a couple of minutes when she’s tired but other than that, she’s Miss independent x

My LO is only cuddly when she’s super super tired other than that she just wants to be on the go all the time and doesn’t have time for cuddles 😂 it’s definitely nothing to do with your LO not having a bond with you don’t worry! Xx

My little girl is also miss independent! Always on the move and wanting to explore, play and walk around (aided). I am able to comfort her though, and I know we have a strong bond as she always gives me big smiles and giggles. I wouldn't worry too much, he definitely loves you to pieces, maybe he just doesn't know how to show it yet!
