Baby banged head

My nearly 9 month old had a bumblebee back/head support on and she fell from a sitting position and smacked her head on the floor as they bumblebee slid to one side. She cried immediately, I can't feel any sort of lump, and she's really grouchy now crying a lot. Our nearest hospital with a child a&e is an hour away and if I call 111 I know they will send us there and I don't know what to do. I've got family saying she's fine, friends saying take her, and a husband who is obviously not pleased at the idea of spending the whole night at hospital. Please help I don't know what to do. She's now laughing with her daddy and is happy again.

I would keep an extra close eye but she probably will be fine, my little one smacked his head on our solid oak coffee table several weeks ago and was unsettled for a while but was fine after a couple of hours and lots of cuddles and food xx

Usually if they cry straight away it's a good thing. Watch her for signs of a concussion, e.g. vomiting and drowsiness. My LO managed to hit her forehead on the corner of a door, a bruise and lump came out almost straight away but other than that sue was ok. But obviously you know your child best if you feel uneasy then give 111 a call

This is why these back packs aren’t good, I would honestly get rid because they need to learn that fallings means getting hurt so what naturally happens is they then learn to fall onto their bottoms rather just back onto their heads! I think she will be fine though mines banged his head so many times when he start pulling himself up and cruising x
