Step daughter - asking to get her nails done

I would treat her personally. If it’s near her birthday or if she’s having good grades you can say it’s for that. If she’s wanting it to be a regular thing she’ll have to keep it up

I would make a deal with her to pay for the mani and Pedi but any extra like designs comes out of her money.

I would treat her to nails if it’s close to a holiday or her birthday is coming up soon or if she’s doing really good in school or behaving well at home. But if she wants to keep it as a regular thing, that’s probably when I would have her pay for her nails getting done!

If my step daughter asks to go with me and I’m already going I pay for hers to get done. Granted my girl is only 8 so she still only gets polish but still it’s a bonding moment that I get with her so I do not make her use her own money to get her nails done daddy and I pay for them. Just like when she asks her bio mom to get my son something or to include MY son in their activities she doesn’t ask me for money for him she just pays for it. We just do what makes the kids all happy.
