Baby eating at All inclusive

I will be taking my little one on holiday when he is 10 months. He is currently nearly 9 months and mostly eating puréed foods and I’m unsure what he will eat when we are away all inclusive , should I take packets of food? Does anyone have experience of this?

I'm taking some pouches of food and rest will try to do blw and or mash foods together

I would bring your own food as non of it will be puréed. You could offer baby lead weaning suitable items from the restaurant but wouldn’t rely on it.

I’m possibly looking to do this and wondered the same.

When my LO was 8 months she just ate from the AI buffet, it was great she got to try so much and I didn’t worry as much about the waste or the mess. Personally I think all inclusive is great for weaning

Take some pouches but you could also use this next month to try introduce some non-puréed food so he can start to get more used to it. We went to an all inclusive when my daughter was 9months and it was so good to try her with stuff we might not have usually at home or be too worried about wasting food.

He can do solids at this point. Sure bring a few packets and what not but 1. They can do solids if they eat. But they are also not one yet so they don’t NEED food they can just do their milk. With my son when we went he just had what we had if he ended up eating

But wouldn’t the hotel food have been cooked with salt, sugar etc?

I took my boy last week at 8 months and it was a great opportunity to try so many different things! Maybe take some backup food but it could turn out to be a really fun experiment

I’d take a few pouches in your suitcase and then offer her finger food there x

I’d do baby led weaning and offer various options from the all inclusive- they will probably have foods you wouldn’t cook at home so gives your little one the opportunity to try new things

I would take a few with you to be safe…. See how you get on at the buffet and worst case scenario you might have to walk to a local supermarket and get a few more
