Teething help

Any magic tips to help my little boys discomfort with teething! I’ve tried the granulas and gave him calpol but they don’t seem to work and other medicines aren’t allowed till he’s 6 month! He has screamed all day, and now I’m literally lying here holding his dummy in his mouth so he can chew it whilst falling asleep. I feel so helpless.

I have good experience with Ashton & Parsons Teething Powders. (3 months onwards) Alternatively, you could give ibuprofen, maybe? (For future reference, the big gun is Anubesol liquid or gel which is 5months onwards 💚) Teething toys could be kept in fridge & let him chew on. I hope your little one gets better soon. 💚🤞

Have you tried nurofen? I gave this to my daughter when her molars were coming through (she’s 4 now) and it really helped her, found it was really the only medication to ease the pain. And babies can have it from 3 months. Will be using this with my 4 month old too when he’s in such discomfort x

If you breastfeed, we found frozen breastmilk helped c

I use the fillable dummies that are meant for starting wean and put frozen breast milk in it and let him chew it this has worked well for him. Along with nuerofen every once in a while

@Nora I thought anbesol was 6 month! If it’s 5 you’ve made my day!! It was the best thing for my eldest

@Chelsea no I’ve only used calpol I’ll get some tomorrow thanks
