Sensations down there

I’m 28+3 weeks… Does anyone else keep getting a weird feeling down there? Kinda similar to the same feeling if you were to bite into ice cream and you get that shock in your teeth when it hits your nerves … Only way I can think describe the pain / feeling 🤣 I had a speculum examination Saturday night and it has been since then this feeling is happening… I’ve heard of lightning crotch being a stabbing, sharp pain and that’s not what this pain feels like…

I am 28 weeks and today I have had pain in stomach like having a stitch in your rib but the stomach xx

I get that too, but this pain is fully down there in my vagina not even in my pelvic area or abdomen it’s only down there

Is it when the baby kicks or whatever down low ?

@N L no it just randomly happens throughout the day and I can’t feel baby kick when it happens , but he has been head down since 12 weeks on every scan with his hands and feet so it is most likely him🤣 it’s just a weird ass feeling🤣

I spoke to my midwife about this today, she said you have two nerves in the crotch area that run up the stomach so it could be that baby is being awkward on the nerves and that’s causing it

Yeah I feel like baby is literally so soooo low and just chilling right in my vagina at this point. He actually is positioned quite low and his movements are mainly centre-ish

How can you tell if baby is low

@Karlie for me the movements I get are quite low in my belly. Also I've had his heartbeat checked a few times now and that's also been found in a lower position.

Had my midwife yesterday and he’s head down still very comfy down there🤦🏽‍♀️
