@Crissy idk I don't intervene unless he gets too hard so I just ignore it for the most part and when it is too much I move him to a different location like to a bath or outside or a car ride.
It’s hard at this age. They usually diagnose between 18-24 months from what I’ve been told. Sensory seeking can be a normal part of developing. My child was premature, due 12/31/23- came 10/22/23. He is also showing signs of autism. He was given the MCHAT at a developmental screen. He scored high risk… but 2 months later has outgrown some of those behaviors and developed some gestures and language. If you feel comfortable messaging me I can send a copy of the questionnaire. Or you can google the questions, or ask baby’s doctor. It’s a parent assessment so it doesn’t need to be given by a professional.
I understand the feeling my baby bang her head for sensory and she also does it for fun too but I don’t know what I’m thinking is more for sensory reasons why she likes to hit her head. I’ve been trying to talk to the doctors and trying to get her tested but it’s a normal thing but my gut doesn’t tell me that it’s normal. No behavior for a baby but I’m still a new time mom I’m just worried if I don’t knwo how help her in the moments
