Bare in mind she’s really hot to touch

I’d call 111 now and depending on what they suggest take her to A&E. She’s still quite young so doesn’t have a great immune system yet. It’s also the time of year for bronchitis and rsv, I would be straight A&E just to be safe especially if calpol isn’t reducing temp, not eating, no solid poos etc

Yh when I rang 111 last night cuz had to wait 2 hrs for out of hours to call me they the. Said another 2 hr so in end I gave it half hr and the. She started twitching so rang them bk had to wait half hr for doctor to see what he said and if he would wanna see her in person and took 2 ish hrs time he called she eaten half sandwich and temp was down so when at doctors she was running playing ect I just don’t wanna wait 2 hrs and the time they wanna see her she’s fine makes me look like I am lieing

Take her up to A&E even if she is okay and it’s just a cold, it puts your mind at ease. It’s typical for kids to be running around and looking fine the second you get to the doctors. My son hit his head when he was around that age, massive bump on his head, he had a mini seizure and was throwing up second we stepped foot into A&E he was running around and playing with all the toys there

Yh just gone into her temp had gone down to 37.9

37.9 is still fairly high but not too bad, if it goes to 39/40 or above before doctors open take her to A&E. But I’d ring up doctors in the morning when they open and ask for an emergency appointment that day, they always leave emergency spots open for kids

Okie thank you 🙏

The ‘twitching’ sounds like febrile convulsions. Around 40 is very high. If calpol alone doesn’t work we alternate it with Nurofen

Take her up to children’s a and e. We’ve all had the Nora virus this week at our house. It might be that as it’s made people so poorly. I mean I passed out with it. It could be Covid as well the new string of the virus. They are really good with children in their. Try giving your daughter apple juice or a fruit shoot as the sugar is good for children when they’ve lost so much xx
