I also carry so I was personally safe
I traveled (flew) pretty much every two weeks till 32 weeks, last week was my last trip! Mine was only a 1 hr flight, but for flights over an hour I’d wear compression socks and get up every hour. Always booked or chose an aisle seat. Drink 100oz+ of water per day. Packed snacks. I started gate checking my luggage around 13 weeks bc I couldn’t lift it to the overheads safely. It’s annoying but ultimately safer, I’d also ask the agent when gate checking if I could preboard which for southwest was helpful. I did not hesitate to ask tsa for help getting my bag on or off the scanner etc. DO NOT HESITATE TO ASK FOR HELP! My trips are usually 3-4 nights so I also ordered an uber eats delivery to my hotel every time with groceries - water, juice, snacks, etc - so that I never was without those. Idk all in all people LOVE pregnant women I found so treated me really well. The biggest ones are prob compression socks, water, and checking your bag :) you’ve got this!
Compression socks. I took a water mug with me that had a strap I could wrap around my wrist and kept refilling it so I knew exactly how much water I was getting. I had ends easily accessible just in case I started to feel any pain which I rarely did.
Thanks all for your tips! Will definitely be instituting this, just about 10 weeks and fresh off a plane, so I’m sure going to need to weave some of this in on my next trip!
I traveled all the time even flew at 38wks pregnant. I would use compression socks and drink a lot of water
