I’m the exact same ! Basically from the start my hip pain arrived and has just got worse ever since, I really struggle to sleep especially now. I spoke to my midwife multiple times and it’s very normal and just a part of our joints and ligaments moving / softer. Unfortunately not much you can do!! She just told me to take paracetamol haha
I’m the same but switching sides usually helps, have you been using a pillow between your legs to keep you aligned? My midwife said if it stops you from sleeping we can refer you to a physio so might be worth asking for that.
Me toooo.
Me too! Was starting to blame my mattress lol
Yep me too… I have bad hips already so I saw a physio and this is normal. Just got to keep moving! Get a pregnancy pillow. She also suggested a bouncy ball to lay over for relief. Nothing seems to really help, the joys of pregnancy 🤣 it’ll be worth it!
@Page yeah I use a small pillow thing to go between my legs and that helps with a different type of hip pain but this is more the outside where I’m led on it 🤦🏻♀️
I’ve been having that exact pain a lot, the bigger you get they say it gets worse, I’ve had to find something to put underneath me and inbetween to help abit but doesn’t do much, plus I’ve been tossing and turning so much it’s pointless aha
I’ve been having the same- been putting a smaller pillow between my knees and using hot water bottles on the hips eases the pain. And try propping yourself up more!🫶🏼
I am exactly the same and never had this with my first!! it’s so painful in the mornings x
I've found that having a pillow in front and/or behind me and leaning on it helps, it's when my hips are stacked on top of each other that's the worst. If I'm leaning forward or back it seems to put less pressure on
Yes I’ve been having the same thing… I think it’s just to do with the weight all on one hip. I get a bit of relief when I swap to the other side but then it starts again. Sometimes only thing that helps is to get up and walk as well!
