Fruit intake

Silly question, but how much fruit do you eat as a pregnant woman? I’ve noticed since pregnant I have no desire for fruit whatsoever!!

oh i’m all over the fruit on a daily basis! mango, grapes, pineapple, strawberries, cherries are all my favourites during pregnancy and i’m currently 26wks 😅

Is it a boy? 😂 I had a girl and I ate fruit salad for dinner sometimes haha

Barely any, sometimes the odd banana. I do eat plenty of veg though. I'm trusting my body to know what it wants!

Zero So I’m making myself feel better by taking my supplements

I'm eating more fruit now pregnant than I was before but that's because I'm craving juicy things. I generally eat 2 or 3 portions of fruit a day (bananas, pears, plums, watermelon, apples etc) and the rest is made up of veg. I've been a little addicted to apple juice too but that's because it helps with my nausea

Oh my I feel so bad. For the past 10 days I haven’t been able to eat no fruit or veggies whatsoever!! I’ve been barely even been able to keep water down 😭 but I’m trying to get back on my feet, i just don’t really feel like it but I guess I’ll have to force myself 😂

my sister used to make smoothies/fruit based milkshakes when she had nausea and sickness, was much easier to keep down. don’t be too hard on yourself, pregnancy is a wild ride!

I’m 8 weeks pp but fruit salad was my go too during my 2nd trimester! Strawberries, apples and grapes especially! Couldn’t get enough of the stuff!

If you're struggling with sickness don't beat yourself up! Just eat and drink what you can manage, are you in the first trimester?

Yes. Going to 8 weeks now

Don’t worry in your first trimester, as long as your taking your supplements you can focus on fruit & veggies later in pregnancy ☺️ if you’re really worried you could try making smoothies if you’re not diabetic xx

Smoothies were all I could stomach in the mornings! Water was going to come back up. It would need to be not too acidic mind. No pineapple, orange or passion fruit. Banana, strawberry or coconut was the go to which changed to watermelon and blueberries

I eat loads of fruit but have an aversion to salad and a lot of my firm favs for dinner
