YES YES YES to silverettes!! saved my breastfeeding journey. no risk of infection as they are antibacterial. used them with my baby that had a tongue tie and they saved my nipples
I wanted so badly for these to help me. In the beginning my nipples were so sore and even the XL silverette size was too small so they ended up making the pain worse. I ended up returning them. This was probs just a sizing issue for me, but hope this helps. Nursing ice packs were my breast friends lol
I used the nipple creams for the first month or so and then I just got used to it and we are over a year in now. I never tried those, but don’t sleep on the nipple creams either 😅
Absolutely loved it. They were really soothing and helped me on my bf journey. I know gift them to all my pregnant friends
I’m currently nursing my fifth baby. I’ve never tried Silverettes, so I can’t offer advice on using them. I do recommend having a lactation consultant evaluate baby’s latch, if you’re experiencing any pain. I also recommend using a nipple butter, instead of lanolin, I found nipple butter to be more soothing.
I am on my breastfeeding journey and these silverettes have been so helpful! Think of them as one of your steps in breastfeeding. Lactation nurses are the first step, latching comes next, silverettes help save your nipples, as well as nipple butter. I will say, my nipples still were sore in the first two weeks, but these helped prevent them from rubbing on my clothes.
As you can tell from the responses everyone’s journey is soooo different. I personally suck and doing returns and didn’t want to waste a registry gift on something that may or may not be used. I was worried about breastfeeding initially and it was a little painful in the beginning before my milk came in but now it’s a breeze and all I use is the Haaka, Lady Bug, breast pads and burp rag. Whenever I was sore I just took a warm shower or put a cool damp rag over my nipples for a bit and got so much relief. Totally up to you as it sounds like these have worked for a lot of women 💖 best of luck on your breastfeeding journey !
These saved my life when my LO couldn’t latch properly and my nipples we’re RUINED
Buy them, best item to have
I used to put a bit of breastmilk into the cups and then put them on, helped heal any damage I had at the time.
Very good. I think I got a dupe from Amazon slightly cheaper. It was a life saver. I didn’t have any issues with breastfeeding related to irritation
I never tried them. I used the lanolin ointment just a small amount. And I used breast shields in my nursing bra. I made sure to change them if they became damp. That really helped me. Also, since the price can add up. I bought nursing shields that are washable. And gently cleaning them when showering. Target sells wonderful nursing bras I highly recommend them. They make nursing so much easier. Good luck! And it’s your choice. Some family members had negative or offensive comments about my journey with my baby. Hope that doesn’t happen to you. But if it does just ignore it.
I had them but they did not help me! The medela pads are a game changer so is using nip cream right after nursing
Idk.. I personally didn't have pain that long that I needed something other than the heat/cool packs from Walmart. I used some cream but not much. You can use your own breast milk for any cracks you might get.to help heal and soothe. If you nips stick to your shirt or bra, use warm water and they'll unstick

Definitely! If your sensitive anyway can help with if it’s chilly too as adds an extra barrier. I suffered with vapospasm which cool air aggrivates so I basically had mine on all the time! ✨
I used them as a precaution and my nipples were never sore at the beginning. My girl is 11 months now and it’s a different story 😀 but mainly because she twists and scratches them
