Jiggly as anything too!
I had c section but was back to normal 2 weeks later. I was mega fit before and during pregnancy though. I was still cycling 2 days before i went into labour 🤷🤣 I'm actually a little under my prepregnancy weight so ha inf to keep an eye on it. I am breastfeeding though and that's meant to help 🤷 Easier said than done but just eat healthy and go for walks with baby. Maybe take a look at what exercise you can do with baby? I'm thinking to give yoga a go 🤷🤣
Yep I do and an extra chin 😫😆 trying hard to lose it but it's not easy!
I’m glad to hear others have a belly still I run before pregnancy and have started it up again since being 13 weeks post but the belly is still there and hard xx
Yeah I'm the same !
Yup, I still have a little belly but I have managed to start toning it up now! The one thing that works wonders is skipping. I bought myself a skipping rope and started a random skipping rope challenge where you skip daily and I have managed to lose a lot of weight. Easy way to exercise when you have a gap when looking after baby! 😅 x
Oh yes yes yes! I’ve done loads of core exercise, I’m on a calorie deficit diet and now I’m back at work 3 days a week on my feet and I’m no different. With mine it’s just extra fat and skin and it makes me sooo self conscious, I think a lot of it depends on genetics as some people don’t have the ‘pooch’ as such but there’s soo many of us that also do! Your not alone girl x
Same here. I’m giving it time and trying to come to terms with the fact I might always look a little different than before now
@Hayley-Elizabeth I had a section too, and although I’m breastfeeding, do dance as exercise and go for daily walks I have a belly too! I’ve got another scar on that part of my body, and even with my stomach at its flattest where the scar indents my belly overhangs a bit, so I’m expecting that with the section. Your body did an incredible thing, be proud of it even though it’s hard some days! Xxx
Some people may ‘bounce back’ but as someone else pointed out, a lot of it is genetics not how much you’re exercising! Do what makes you feel good and healthy but you had a baby in there- give yourself some grace xxx
I do after 2 c sections in less than 2 years. I do think I have diastasis recti though which can contribute to you still looking pregnant
@Jess what is that ? X
Where your abs are separated down the middle. It’s completely normal but it doesn’t always go back and can be harder to go back after c sections. If you lie on your back and tense your abs slightly and have a feel down the middle you should be able to feel your abs either side, if you have separated abs then there’ll be a bigish gap down the middle
I had a c section too and can’t seem to get rid of the shelf or whatever it’s called!
What do you mean belly? I definitely have like if you imagine you lost weight, but there was still a bit of heaviness in the front.. weighed down, I have that 😂
