Food

When are you starting your babies on food like baby porridge?? My little girl is 4 months old and a few people are questioning me why I haven’t got them on porridge yet… Should I start her on it or continue with just her milk??

i won't bother with baby porridge. with my first we did baby led weaning from 6 months and that worked for us, so will be doing that again. totally up to you, but i wouldn't introduce food until 6 months unless advised otherwise by a medical professional xx

My baby is 4 months old as well! A few people have asked me why I haven’t started weaning as well. I think wait until 6 months unless you’re told by a professional xx. You have to wait til 6 months because of their digestive system xx

I wouldn't be starting until my baby is 6 months as their digestive system isn't mature enough until then unless your gp has told you too

At least 6 months of age and when he's showing all signs of readiness (able to sit, lost the tongue thrust reflex etc) We do baby led weaning so he'll just be eating what we eat. I start just with dinner first whilst they're learning as I can throw him straight in the bath after 😂
