First time mum here & my LO is nearly 9 months…..food size they keep saying pincher grasp but how do I know when this has happened?

I am unsure what you are asking but if they can pick up a piece of sweetcorn with only their pointing finger and thumb. That's a pincer grip.

Sorry for not being clear. I’m asking how should I be cutting up his food etc.

Don't be sorry at all. I personally kept bigger finger food piecess until about 11 months. I went down to smaller prices when my LO wouldn't eat a long piece of food but wood if I cut it into bite size pieces.

@Lottie my little one is the same now, used to love ginger foods but since developing her pincher grasp she wants small bits 😂

Honestly I think the best thing that’s helped me is google any fruit or veggie or whatever you’re going to serve as everything needs to be cut differently depending on what it is. If you’re unsure, google it xx
