Over 8-10 days x

How old is the baby?

My little one goes once a week and has gone almost 2 weeks before, it’s quite normal to not go as often as there isn’t as much ‘waste’ with breastmilk x

I was told the following.... For a breastfed baby, it’s normal for bowel movement frequency to vary. Newborns (0-6 weeks): Should typically poop at least once a day, often after every feeding in the early weeks. If a newborn goes more than 24-48 hours without a bowel movement, it may be a concern, especially if they seem uncomfortable. Older than 6 weeks: Some exclusively breastfed babies can go several days (even up to 10-14 days) without pooping because breast milk is highly digestible and leaves little waste. If the baby is otherwise content, feeding well, and has plenty of wet nappies, it’s usually not a problem. If your baby seems uncomfortable, has a hard belly, strains excessively, or has hard/dry stools when they finally go, it might be constipation or another issue worth checking with a doctor.
