Does anyone know if annual leave counts as working days?
I'm thinking of leaving my job but it says in my contract that I have to work 14 weeks. I have 10 weeks of annual leave to use and wondered if it counted as I can't really afford to pay the contractual maternity money back. I was hoping to take the 10 weeks after maternity leave and work the remaining 4 weeks if this is at all possible?

I’ve just returned from annual leave and resigned myself. Same clause as you, have to return for 3 months in order to not pay back mat pay. I called up my hr and said can I use accrued annual leave to reduce notice and not impact pay back and I was allowed.

@Lauren it says 8 weeks but not sure if my holidays count x
When I handed my noticed in I was offered to take my holiday as part of it so you may just need to ask or request it xx

I think so as I handed my notice in I only had to work a week and took the remaining 7 weeks as holiday x
