Sunbeds

Any ladies know if it's okay to go on sunbeds? I've put it off for awhile and I've been reading and a lot of women I have seen have said they had no issues. It's more due to the fact of your skin burning so there's no actual harm done to an unborn child. I just wanted a few thoughts on this?

Im not entirely sure of the ins and outs of it but I personally just wouldn’t

Agree with @Laura, I heard it’s more about overheating, hence why we can’t go in hot tubs or really hot baths. I just wouldn’t risk it x

I mean, if you lived in a sunny climate I don’t see what the actual difference would be than being under a bulb for several minutes. The only thing I’d be more worried about is the fact hormones really do make your body behave differently during pregnancy like increased sensitivity and your advised not to be in saunas etc due to your internal body temperature so I would say that goes the same for sunbeds xx

Not safe, your skin is more prone to burning when pregnant and there is a risk of overheating - both of these are bad for baby
