Pain above left hip - comes and goes ?
I’m just over 11 weeks and the last two days I’ve been getting a really uncomfortable spasm type crampy pain in my left side. Even wakes me up at night, anyone know what this could be?
I haven’t had any cramps all trimester so this is unusual for me. It’s kinda where my kidney would be I guess and the pain radiates all around the side and back on just the left side.. should I speak to the midwife or book an apt with gp?

No not really, just any time. Even when walking sometimes but it’s like a sharp pain that lasts a minute or two and then goes. But I stop and have to hold my side until it calms down
Sounds like sciatica x
Oh I’ve got sciatica too, that’s in my bum lol this is different to that. I might ring my midwife tomorrow to double check just worried in case it’s kidney related x thank you
Just in case anyone wants an update, I’ve been prescribed antibiotics for a kidney infection !
