i bottle feed but my little girl gets constipated a lot, she strains and it’s difficult, i find if i give her infacol in the morning and then like work her legs throughout the day sometimes she poos or she’ll poo the next day. I gave her infacol about 2 days ago, she went then and she’s gone today by herself x
My LB has just turned 3 months today but last week didn't poop for 7 days despite my countless efforts to try stimulate him as his gas is stinking, we're now on day 3 today of no poo again. He is mainly BF or expressed milk topped with ready to made formula in the evenings. I remember my first did the same around this age and it passed again after few weeks and started pooping everyday or every other day again. They're digestive system is changing around 11 weeks. Keep going with probitoics daily and like my LB he is sometimes straining just to pass wind that I use infacol or dentinox to try help ease the griping pain xx
My baby went from pooing around twice a day, to now having gone a few days without a poo. Apparently it's normal to go up to a week without a poo around this age when breastfed as they use all of the nutrients rather than having an excess that they need to part with. I'm not too clued up on ways to help baby's go though as neither of mine have ever been uncomfortable with it while only having milk but I'm sure others may have some advice on how to help her poo x
