He’s getting ready for sure. I’d suggest putting a potty in front room and bathroom and when he tells you wee wee is coming. Undress him and let him sit on the potty. (This is how it worked for my nieces) My personal experience. My girl started ripping her nappy off, point blank refused to use it anymore and wanted to use the actual toilet (she’s never used a potty) So from then on whenever I went for a wee, I’d bring her in and say ‘your turn now’ It was a week of accidents but she grasped it so quickly and was using the toilet by 25 months. I went straight for the toilet as that’s what my mum did with me. And it saves you having to potty train and then onto the toilet.. x
We started the week before Christmas as we were all off and not been in nappies since (minus 1 day but she was poorly but that was more for my sanity 🥴💩) she still have the odd accident but only through not getting there on time or letting a little bit out before she’s completely registered she needs a wee. We had a reward chart, a pot of small treats for a wee or poo or just sitting in the potty/toilet at first. Potty in the main room you will be spending time in and a seat with steps so she can independently go to the toilet
Heyy, I read a book called Oh crap! and we are potty training the 1st 2 weeks of March- I’ve took 2 weeks off work especially 😂 It actually says in the book the ideal time to potty train for most kids is around 20-30 months. I will update how it goes 😬
Sounds ready, let him run around naked with a shirt on if it’s still cold and see what happens! Make sure a potty is close by or a kids potty.
