They just do, always have. Same day every week
Oh so no childcare set ups that is odd have you really mentioned how you feel? Can you set up a day where you can do the same thing? Just to add I get why you’re feeling like you do and you have every right xx
Yes a few times but there’s many excuses they give. It just upsets me they commit to one person but not the other.
Could you join in on the set day? And take turns in which house? Also when they next need help just remember all of this xx
My mum&dad live over an hour way but will always have lo for a weekend if I ask and even had her for a whole week twice now (booked time off work) she has her own nursery etc at their house but my mil who lives five minutes away never comes round ect and we have to go to her so I understand the frustration in that sense and when lo was first born the only women I had support me was a past colleague (older women) who luckily only lives around the corner and she saw me everyday for the first few weeks of her life (obviously my own parents couldn’t just pop round) but mil never bothered either 🙃 if it was down to me lo would never see mil unless she made an effort but unfortunately her son doesn’t understand it from my point of view, personally if they can’t make an effort with you then they’re not worth the stress x
Thankyou, it’s sad because I didn’t think she would be like this before I had children. But I no when my children get older and if they were to have children I would be very different with them and way more supportive. She’s not a bad person at all, I just don’t know what’s going on with her and why she’s become so distant.
@Rachel no, she goes round on a evening and my children are in bed then Becuase they are a lot older, I don’t think she would ever change her plans for that day tbh Oh well Onwards and upwards x
It’s odd the see one of your siblings once a week and not you why do they see your sibling a set day? Xx
