She’ll be 16 months this coming Wednesday. She’ll technically she’ll be over two. I just feel that I’m gonna have so much guilt if we have another one.
It worked out really well for me he loves her he gets upset when shes napping we all play together he learned to share he learned to say I’m sorry and hes learning to share what we do it’s been great shes a Velcro baby but thats its own issue
The thing that sucked once pregnancy he didn’t understand and it was very hard on me emotionally
Ours are 19 months apart. It’s awesome they are little besties. You won’t feel guilty. You’ll have 9 months to plan and then when baby is here your toddler will be such a help to their sibling and then they get a bestie
I’m going to be honest. Hopefully your experience is different from mine, but I have a 17 month old and a 5 month old, and it has been a struggle. I’m sure there will be pros eventually, but right now I’m in survival mode—taking it one day at a time! I really hope you have a support system! Good luck, Mama!! Also, it depends on how far they are apart. If they’re like 18 plus months apart you’ll probably be fine, but a year or less, just be strong!
Struggling to time our next one as well.
We had our second when the first was 2.5 years old. It was hard while I was pregnant because I couldn’t carry her or pick her up sometimes but now it’s great. They are friends and it is clear that her older sister is her favorite person.
I did exactly 2 years October 2021 and October 2023 worked out very well so far
