Baths

Anyone had baths in their pregnancy? I’m scared I’ll make it too hot 🥵 but the midwife advised baths for aching back and hips with magnesium salts so I wish to try x

I have one every day and have had no issues!

I started having baths last week and it has helped my back so much! My bath isn’t very big though so not sure I’ll fit in much longer 😂

Baths are fine to have during pregnancy! Go for it and enjoy!

I'm having them as much as I can, it helps with the aches and pains 🤣 x

I have a boiling hot bath everyday - have since I found out I was pregnant, I’m 32 weeks and I’m fine 😂

I took many and loved it, no problems ☺️

Im still having hot baths like normal. The only thing I've noticed is I can't lay back for too long, it seems to take my breath away. I think because of baby laying funny

I use my babies bath thermometer just so I'm sure

@kazzarooony what temp is good ?

I go for the same as my son (he's 15 months) at 37 degrees. It's meant to be the perfect temp Pre pregnancy I used to have hot baths so this is just a visual and a reassurance for me

I had loads currently 35 weeks. Pop water thermometer I bought for baby to check on temperature. It flashes red when it gets too hot

Baths are fine as long as it's not too hot. If you're perspiring a lot, short of breath, or turn into a lobster then it's too hot. If you still like them on the warmer side then keep it under 20 mins.

I have baths again now. I’d also highly recommend magnesium bath salts/ flakes (they help with sleep as well as aches and pains!). I use these: https://betteryou.com/products/magnesium-flakes Tk Maxx sell the product for under £5 in the shops. Holland and Barrat and a few other places sell it too
