Touching private’s
My little girl has recently become very interested in private parts! She will sit and put her hands down her pants and rub herself, looks and plays in the bath and will take her pants off and explore saying she has ‘two gina’s and a peenie in the middle’ 🙈
She has an 8 months old baby brother so she asked questions at first when we were changing his nappy which is fine and we explained but it’s the touching that’s getting to me 🙈
Anyone else the same? Not sure if it’s normal or what to do or say?

My daughter is very similar at bath time. I tell her the name and that it’s private etc. Very normal behaviour as long as they understand when it’s appropriate etc x
Completely normal, my son is a nightmare he’s always got his hands down there!

One of my girls does it (twins) but the other one doesn't she's always touching over her clothes then when clothes are off she's looking, touching, legs open. She knows it's private and not to show other people.

Absolutely normal. Let her explore. Just make sure that she understands that it's private parts so other people cannot see it.
