@Molly ty. I will definitely take into account
Before I found about baby wearing I bought 3 carriers and baby didn't like them. If you are buying now try a baby wearing consultant first. Will save you money in the end. Have a look at below link. https://www.babywearing.co.uk/sling-libraries/
Also have a look at this FB group if you like. https://www.facebook.com/groups/392468534286432/?ref=share
I’ve got an ergo baby carrier and a baby borjn one! Both really easy to put on well!
I have the solly baby and love it!
I’m a huge fan of my Solly wrap. I actually have two so one can be in the wash. It was intimidating at first but now I can put it on in less than 10 seconds. And I like that I can leave it on even when we’re not using it, so I can tie it once and then just pop baby in and out when he’s ready! I also appreciate that my husband can use it without us needing to readjust a bunch of things each time.
I have a Moby Fit, which is very similar to the one on the left with the rings and I find the rings very uncomfortable. I don't recommend it.
@Christina baby Bjorn is a narrow based carrier But ergo is a really good brand for baby carrier
I would get the ergo baby, or if you can spend some money on it I have the artipop carrier and have used it for both kids and love it. Super easy to put on. I had a sling for my first and never used it. The carrier is way better.
This one looks a bit like the close caboo. I got on well with that for my first, but as others have said it's not the most supportive for you. Haven't tried a stretchy to compare but I liked the reassurance of not having to tie it all.up from scratch every time
Personally I’ve tried both and got on better with the rings. You have to get the wrap really tight otherwise baby slips down and I found that difficult with taking it off to breastfeed (you may not need to take it off if your clothes give better access than mine!) I’ve found the ring ones easier to take on and off and have baby secure but my partner gets on really well with the wrap
i love the kea babies wrap and its price friendly too
I have like every type of carrier possible. I cannot figure out the ring sling if my life depends on it it always is uncomfortable for her and the ring is in her face. The structured carriers like ergobaby are the most comfortable and easiest to have adjusted to your body but the bulkiest and hottest. The tshirt style ones are good for a shorter nap but I don't find great for a long one or a longer walk (less support). I don't like the long pieces of fabric ones because they're difficult when baby is screaming and you're stressed.
