Anyone else jealous of those due at the start of the month? 🤣

Like they are already 12 weeks pregnant and will be having their first scan while I’ve got to wait until mid March!
Can’t win though because all my babies have been due mid month, I then get jealous of those due at the end of the month / having their newborns when mine are already 2 weeks old 😂

Yeah weirdly feels a bit like that doesn’t it! My current due date is 29th September so feels like September is a real long month lol!

Avatar

lol I’m so impatient

Avatar

Yh literally. My last baby was due the 10th July so knew that if they didn't come early in June they'll definitely be a July baby whereas this one could be an august, sept or Oct baby 😅

Avatar

I’m not, simply because it’s less likely that I’ll end up having an August baby if they want to come a week or 2 early

Avatar

But I ideally don’t want an August baby and I’m pushing it lol 😝

Avatar

that’s true! As a teacher I really wanted to avoid a summer/August baby 🙈 so fingers crossed even if ours comes early, it’ll still only be mid September x

Avatar

But remember we have also already been pregnant so much longer than you and this 12 week scan has been a long time coming! I got my first positive test on CHRISTMAS DAY! That was like 10000000 years ago 🤣🤣🤣

Avatar

I’m a teacher and I’m due the 8th. My first LO was 2 weeks early. I’m not letting this one out until at least the start of Sept!

Avatar

Very true about the August thing! Apparently you can defer a school year 😄

Avatar

same 😆

Avatar

It’s tricky! Not all schools allow you to defer for reception and they skip them straight into Year 1 which is the worst thing for a child I think. Early years is so so valuable, but my heart goes out to all of the little summer babies in my class every year, it’s so tricky for them when they’re essentially a whole year younger than some of their peers who turned 5 in September! xx

Avatar

@Ellie I'm a teacher too! I'm going back to work for 2 weeks in September. A colleague is due early August though. Xx

Avatar

I can totally relate! And I am also a teacher! I am in the group but baby isn’t due until 1st October. My daughter was induced 2 and a half weeks early though so I’m anticipating a September baby! At the moment I am just desperate for the nausea and vomiting to finish!

Avatar

I’m due 26th sept which is nice as my first came 25th August! I’ll have an oldest in a school year and a youngest.

Avatar

I couldn't drink champagne or eat yummy soft cheese over the whole of Christmas and New Year though so there's pros and cons! 😂

Young mum

Hi guys,

I’m just wondering if there’s any other young parents that are getting further into their pregnancy and like, genuinely just clocking that I’m gonna be responsible for a baby and I don’t know everything their is to know about baby’s I feel like I’m gonna be so useless and accidently be the worst mum in the world 🫣

Does anyone else feel like this? Or felt like this? I’m 19 and genuinely have so much anxiety about this now I’m 20 weeks lol

So annoyed, dog jumped on me :( now I’m anxious

I have a big dog and she NEVER jumps.. today I came home and my mum was with me visiting and my dog must have just got over whelmed and she jumped and ended up scratching my lower back,

with that I’ve bent backwards almost and stretched my lower belly and it didn’t hurt as such just felt like tha shock ligament pain but ofc I haven’t actually bent that far since being pregnant and now I just feel anxious really and just need some reassurance. It only happened about 15 mins ago and I have felt baby a little since

But why is there always something to worry about!😭
