Shampoo: Childs farm without perfume Moisturiser: For HV advice I use coconut oil Nappy cream: for HV advice too I use vaseline but a lot of people use Sudocream
I’m just planning on using breastmilk for baths no products and I got 100% almond oil though I’ve read it’s not ideal to introduce allergens on the skin before orally so might reconsider
We just bathed with plain warm water the first few weeks. Then a plain baby wash. Midwife recommended coconut oil as best for their delicate skin 💖 We haven’t had any nappy rash yet so don’t use any nappy cream.
I use some of the Naïf products, they are all lovely and get great reviews on Yuka!
I like Mustela and Nala.
We just used water and didn’t add anything. Avoid the usual baby oils and baby bath stuff (eg johnsons baby oil as it’s made from petroleum). Highly recommend getting the Yuka app as it tells you what is in stuff and what to avoid.
Personally for new born I didn’t use any shampoo or conditioner… I used a fragrance free baby wash and then used baby oil and a brush on head to help with cradle cap. I generally found that sudocream is the best for nappy creams. In terms of baby wash and baby oil, I just used generic supermarket. But this wasn’t till LO was about 3 months old due to his sensitive skin. Babies up until about 6 weeks should be plain water, then can be unfragranced items from then (recommended from NHS inform)
