Pram and push chairs

Quick question when should we switch from pram to a pushchair. My son is coming up to 3 months old tbh he doesn’t like the laying down pram much and prefers the car seat but i dont know when to switch to the push chair as i got a travel system set but i dont know if it will be too big for him but the car seat is getting a little small for him i think 🤔

If your seat lays flat and is suitable from birth it's fine to switch to the seat.

He won't be outgrowing the car seat yet, you might need a fit check on it but the weight limit is 13kg

We switched about 5 months and made sure the seat was reclined a little. He wanted to be sitting up and looking round by then and was stable enough when reclined a bit.

yeah my little man is coming up three months and weighs over 13 pounds and he lifted his head as soon as he was born and holds his head up well tbh so i may switch it because he likes to look around alot

We switched our LB at 3 months, he showed all signs he was ready and is now much happier

I think I moved my girl between 3-4 months into her chair. Most of them can almost fully recline so if you're worried you can try that, or one setting up so they're not fully reclined or fully sat up

There should be a recommended age for the seat, usually it's 3-6 months, depending on what kind of recline it has. Mine was a pramette/stroller seat, it reclined flat so we used it pretty early on. We used the car seat unless he was going to be in it a while though. Your baby shouldn't be outgrowing the car seat at 13lbs, most infant car seats go up to 35lbs, so you may just need to adjust the car seat. My son used his infant seat until 7 months old but didn't actually outgrow it until around 15 months, and he was 10lbs at birth and over 13lbs by two months old.

We switched at 4 months as my little boy just loved to be sat up and wanted to look around and hated laying down, he’s much happier now hes in the seat!
A lot of car seats have newborn inserts that need to be removed when they get over a certain height/weight, different depending on the car seat but he shouldn’t be outgrowing it at 13lb x

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

New born

Finally had my baby girl via C-section on the 18th, everything has been so far. But I’ve noticed she’s very fussy and cries a lot. I’ve been trying to exclusively breastfeed. The lactation consultant at the hospital said I did look like I’m making enough milk for her. She was latching on good at the hospital and now here at home, she doesn’t seem to want to latch at all. She’s been crying a lot and very fussy. I’m just wondering is she’s colic or like maybe she just doesn’t want the breast anymore?

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
